Andrea Anthony , voice, piano

Noted for her charming stage presence and vocal warmth, soprano Andrea Anthony holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance and a Bachelor of Education, specializing in vocal music. Equally at home on the theatrical stage or in recital, Ms. Anthony is an active performer of opera, operetta and musical theatre. Recent roles have included: Ännchen in Der Freischütz, Despina in Così Fan Tutte, Servilia in La Clemenza di Tito, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, Laetitia in The Old Maid and the Thief, among others.

In addition to a life on the stage, Ms. Anthony also teaches singing lessons, piano lessons and music theory through her private music studio. She has adjudicated for the Davenport Festival of Music and for the Ontario Registered Music Teachers Association (ORMTA), and she is the acting music director at St. Clement Catholic Church in Etobicoke.

In keeping with her love of performing, Ms. Anthony is frequently hired to perform at gala events, charity balls and weddings. She entertains with an array of musical genres including opera, art song, operetta and musical theatre.
